Pool time!

My friend, Amy, and I took all of the kids to one of the pools on Ft. Bragg today.  Despite it being like a real-life game of "Sophie's Choice" watching Peter and Henry, we all survived to tell the tale... and even had a little fun!

to go down these cool water slides-- yay!

I just ordered that from Lands End but clearly a 4T is pushing it.
(PS.  That comfy looking life vest was mandatory.)  

Who woulda thunk a couple of outdoor showers could
entertain 5 kids for as long as they did!?  I think
they would've been just as happy to play there as in the pool.

It was a lot of work for as little time as we stayed (about an hour and a half) but Pete and Henry are asleep, James and Patrick are upstairs playing Legos quietly, and I am having a cup of coffee in peace so I'd call that a big, fat success.  Cheers!
