Week in MD!

We returned home last night from a wonderful week in Maryland.  It was so nice being home long enough to see so many friends and family.

We swam in three different pools… Aunt Lauren's pool, Germantown Water Park, and Gigi's neighbor's pool.  The boys loved all the water time!
Of course Henry found a frog…
…and gave it a ride around the pool.
 We celebrated Ita's birthday...
The boys love wearing the dress up clothes at Keith and Marta's...
We took a ride on two different carousels...
Surprisingly, Pete didn't want to ride.
We did lots (and lots!) of back-to-school shopping…
Cute new sneakers for Henry!
Air Jordan's James picked out!
The boys have lots of new clothes to return to school… thank you again, Gigi!!!
One day we met up with several good friends at Clemyjontri Park in McLean, VA…
Allison (and her son, Clark), Monique and me!
Audrey, Luke, Mae, Ella, Pete
Henry, James, and Clark
Ella, Luke and Audrey Jones
made the cross-country drive from Ft. Lewis
to Washington, D.C. last week!
Naturally, Henry found a huge
hairy caterpillar and carried it around
the entire time we were at the park.
Another fun carousel ride!

Alison and her daughter, Mae

Before leaving, we met up with my cousin, Laura, and her kids and my Aunt Barbara for breakfast…
Sweet Margo
Margo is definitely outnumbered by boys--
her 2 big brothers and our 3!
Open eyes are so 2013
Love you, mom!
It was a GREAT week!  I don't think we could have packed any more into our time at home if we'd tried.  Thank you to everyone for meeting up with us and making it so special.  xo

About Me

My photo
I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 energetic, funny, sweet, and crazy boys. I married my best friend, Chris, and love our life together. The Army is sending him overseas soon so I thought this blog would be a great way for him (and the grandparents!) to keep up with our hectic life. Unfortunately the Army keeps us too far from family and most of our friends so hopefully this will help us stay connected.
