Christmas Party...

Last night, Chris's work hosted a potluck Christmas party.  We were all pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was.  Truth be told, my expectations were very (very) low so perhaps that's why I thought it was so nice!  There were about 100+ soldiers and family members and tons of food.  Santa even swung by the party and gave each child a gift bag with 5-6 toys in it!

Henry informed us on the way home that he saw a soldier
underneath Santa's costume.  "He was just a helper, Mom."

Santa was probably thinking, "Damn, kid!  You're almost as big as I am!"
Of course I wanted to say, "He's only 7!"

Checking out their goodies
and making swaps!

#nowayjose!

I hope the boys are enjoying all of these holiday events and traditions as much as I am.  Taking them anywhere is almost always a challenge but after we're back home and they're in bed, I'm always glad we made the effort.

About Me

My photo
I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 energetic, funny, sweet, and crazy boys. I married my best friend, Chris, and love our life together. The Army is sending him overseas soon so I thought this blog would be a great way for him (and the grandparents!) to keep up with our hectic life. Unfortunately the Army keeps us too far from family and most of our friends so hopefully this will help us stay connected.
