Doing our best to contract Meningitis...

Yesterday I picked the boys up early from school to (finally) get their flu shots.   The nurse called us into the actual office, then stepped out for a loonnnng 5-10 minutes.  Why?  Just why?

The boys were beyond excited to get their shots this year.  Again… why?

James insisted on laying down on the
stretcher to get the full effect.

Peter is clearly doing his best to fall
on the cold, hard, linoleum floor.

Perhaps you notice Henry with that pen and paper.
Guesses??
Yeah, he's writing out his spelling words.
(Think he does that at home when I ask?  Guesses??)

Great, Pete.

Again with pretending he's hurt and in an ambulance.

Now you see Henry.

Now you don't.

Look at Pete's eyes on the needle.
NOW he gets it...

Apparently Henry still thinks it's funny.
A couple take-aways….

1) I may be raising cold-blooded killers.

2) These boys may not get the flu, but after rolling ALL AROUND that germy office they're sure to get something gross!

3) They definitely keep life interesting.

Happy Saturday, folks!

  1. Why? Oh Why! Much children insist on touching, rolling on, and sitting near every object inside those rooms? And even more concerning why to doctors and nurses ALWAYS leave us alone with them? Are they hoping for a little job security?

I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 energetic, funny, sweet, and crazy boys. I married my best friend, Chris, and love our life together. The Army is sending him overseas soon so I thought this blog would be a great way for him (and the grandparents!) to keep up with our hectic life. Unfortunately the Army keeps us too far from family and most of our friends so hopefully this will help us stay connected.
